BEHIND PSYBERFISH GAMING

It’s-a ME, the Minneapolis Mario Man!

I’m the number one Super Mario 64 streamer on Facebook with one of the highest percentages of engaged followers in all of social media. My page is a registered business with the state of Minnesota, my studio is out of the basement and in an actual office with a window and I can finally call myself a professional broadcaster. My life has come full circle and I can finally put a sandwich in that Ziplock bag.

My Vision

My vision is to create a community where everyone feels safe and welcome. I truly want to bring the world together. When I was a little boy my mom would tell me there are more good people in the world than bad and if this endeavor has taught me anything it’s that mom was right.

It’s-a ME, the Minneapolis Mario Man!

I was born and raised in the great state of Minnesota (Skol Vikes) the son of a radio disc jockey. My dad got his start in broadcasting by volunteering at KMOJ radio station in Minneapolis when he was still in high school with one of his classmates, Prince (yes that Prince).

My own journey into broadcasting began before I could walk when Prince put me on a turntable and spun me around. As I grew up, my family followed my dad from station to station while he pursued bigger roles in the broadcasting industry. I learned how to be a broadcaster in those studios recording radio commercials as a child and had an obvious edge over most of my fellow mass communication students in college. Not long into my collegiate career I unexpectedly became a father myself putting my dreams of becoming a broadcaster in a Ziplock bag for safe-keeping.

Eventually I would stumble onto a lucky opportunity to be the GM of a hotel, something I had no experience in whatsoever other than the ability to communicate with people which I obtained by watching my dad interview celebrities and politicians my whole life. It seemed redemption had shined its light on me at last. However it wouldn’t last. Covid-19 virtually put an end to the travel industry which included the hospitality industry and I found myself spending real time in my makeshift studio/furnace room in the basement streaming Call of Duty to a pitiful audience (no really, I think they actually pitied me) of 2 or 3 viewers.

Less than a year later I’m the number one Super Mario 64 streamer on Facebook with one of the highest percentages of engaged followers in all of social media. My page is a registered business with the state of Minnesota, my studio is out of the basement and in an actual office with a window and I can finally call myself a professional broadcaster.
